Sheffield has so much to offer, whether you’re meeting friends or going on a date. From classic chains to great independents, there is so much selection across the city.
Sheffield is full of bars, restaurants, parks, galleries and nature spots – so whatever your taste, there’s something for everyone. I’ve put together a few great places to go for a date in Sheffield!
My Top Places to Go For a Date in Sheffield
Botanical Gardens
If you’re from Sheffield, then the Botanical Gardens are THE place to go for a romantic picnic. If you’ve met your date on a Yorkshire Dating Site – or even if you just fancy getting away for some private time – the Botanical Gardens has a lovely atmosphere.

It’s beautiful and relaxed, with regular art shows and events throughout the year. You can always find a spot that’s secluded enough to have a private conversation, and there are lots of picturesque hideaways that are perfect for a romantic date.
Turtle Bay
I love Turtle Bay! The food is delicious and you can get a range of great rum-based cocktails. Turtle Bay is such a fun place to go for a date, whether you’re looking for bottomless brunch or after-work drinks.

All the food is inspired by the Caribbean, including jerk chicken, baby back ribs and more.
Don’t want to go out? Meet virtually!
There are also lots of things you can do for a perfect virtual date. You could run an online quiz for your partner and other couples, enjoy digital drinks, cook a meal together or even play games online – all from the comfort of your house.
Kelham Island
Kelham Island is such a lovely place to go if you want a bite to eat or a nice drink – and it has a chilled atmosphere for people of all ages.

This up-and-coming area is full of pubs, cool bars and restaurants, offering plenty of places for every taste. It’s also known for its breweries and small independent spots.
What do you think of these places to go for a date in Sheffield? Have you ever visited Sheffield? Where is your favourite date spot?
