Today I am very excited to share a brilliant gift-giving site, Greater Skies. This site allows you to create your own original star and constellation map, showcasing what the sky looked like at a specific time or date that is very important to you.

This site allows you to choose your own date, customise your map, and decide whether you would like a digital or print download. Greater Skies can create a star map commemorating any date and any time, so you could choose the day you got married, your sibling’s birthday, or even the day you graduated from University.

I love this idea, and I think it’s such a special and original gift idea for any occasion. When it comes to birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings it’s always lovely to commemorate those dates or memories that are special to you and your loved one- and the fact that this can be accessed as a digital gift makes this all the more accessible during these tough times.

I am a massive fan of everything to do with the stars and lunar patterns- and these maps are so gorgeous! I was so lucky to be gifted a star map by Greater Skies, and I chose to commemorate the day my sister was born, in January 2007. I gifted her the map as a going back to school present this week, but this site is the perfect place to find a gift for any occasion.

I found the process for creating the map super quick and simple. Greater Skies shows you how to choose your frame, design, date, and time- and you can also add your own personal message to the map. This means that your gift is always unique to you and your loved one.

I really recommend checking out this site for a range of designs and ideas for your next occasion, and you can customise your gift as much as you want to make it really original.

I think at some point I will order the print version of my map and get a frame for the design, as it’s a great way to commemorate a birth date and keep as a memento of a special time- and it’s also super pretty!
