4 Quirky Ideas for a Girls Night Out

AD- This is a sponsored posts. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If you’re arranging a night out with your close friends, it can sometimes feel like you do the same things every time.

You might go to a bar, pop to your friend’s house or go out for cocktails. And while I love doing all of those things, sometimes you’re looking for something a little bit different.

You and your friends might want to try a new activity or just create lovely new memories together.

In this post, I’ve come up with 4 quirky ideas for a girls night out. These ideas are all a bit different, and they could help you come up with a fun idea for your next night out with friends!

1. Crazy golf

I’ve seen a lot of people enjoy a game of crazy golf or mini golf in cities such as Leeds, and it looks like such a fun night out!

It gives you chance to catch up with your friends and have a few drinks, and also take part in a fun activity that’s a little bit different.

Instead of just going to the pub for a few drinks, play a fun game of golf at the same time.

2. Outdoor cinema

An outdoor cinema experience is such a fun way to catch up with friends and enjoy one of your favourite films.

You can rent a movie screen of any size, meaning whether you’re having a few friends over or a big girls night for your hen party, you can choose the right screen to fit your party.

I love the idea of bringing the cinema to your own back garden!

You can snuggle under blankets, chat as much as you want and enjoy lots of snacks without even having to leave your house for the evening.

I think this sounds like the perfect quirky idea to enjoy a girls night out with your friends and family.

3. A trip to the theatre

If you want to enjoy something a bit different on your next girls night out, why not try a trip to the theatre?

If you like plays and musicals, this is a great chance to get dressed up a little and try something new.

When I was younger I went to see the Nutcracker ballet at the Lyceum Theatre, and it was such an amazing experience that I will never forget.

This could be the perfect place to make a few new memories with your friends!

4. Visit a new city

If you’re getting bored of the same girls nights out in your local city, try going somewhere else!

You could go to a neighbouring city for an evening out or even stay over in a new place for a weekend trip.

Transport links and trains make it so much easier to get to and from a new place, even on the same day.

Many big cities offer train tickets well into the night, meaning you can have a fun girls night out and still wake up in your own bed in the morning.

Do you have any ideas for a quirky girls night out? What is your favourite thing to do with your friends? What do you think of my ideas for a fun girls night out?

Let me know all your thoughts in the comments below 🙂

  1. I love these ideas! I’ve never played crazy golf but outdoor cinema is something we do a lot of in Dubai in the winter months. I’m also a huge fan of the theatre and often do girls nights out at the theatre. And I’m heading to a new city tonight with the girls!

  2. These are fun ideas for a girls night out. I do mini golf with my family but it does seem like a fun time for a night out as well. I also like the theater idea. We used to go to plays at our local theater but that has been placed on hold. Hopefully soon, we can get back into that.

  10. It does feel like I do the same things when I meet up with friends. 😅

I am one of those people that have been to crazy golf in Leeds! It is a fun night, and a lot of laughs in my case, as my aim is terrible.

I love the idea of an outdoor cinema. I enjoy the theatre and haven’t really thought of going with friends. I only recently started going, so it would be nice to ask friends if they want to go as well.

    Thank you for these suggestions.😊
