I’ve been reading for pleasure more and more, but it can be hard when you can’t find the “perfect” read.
When you’re in a reading slump, you need a book that you’re desperate to get back to – a book that you can tear through in a day!

I think when you’re in a reading slump, a simple romantic summer read can be the perfect way to reignite your love of reading.

Ooh it’s a great book! I read it a few years ago now hence the simple description haha, but it’s a brilliant book for a light read

A great selection of reads here. I got out of my reading slump by trying thrillers. They are not the sort of book I normally read so this made a welcome change and I found myself flying through them x

Im in a dreadful slump right now. Im reading lots but its book I’m having to force myself to read for uni. I can’t seem to pick up anything else. But I’m definitely going to try The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop. It sounds light and fun and I’m really drawn to that cover. Great post!!💗

It can be the worst when you have lots of to read for uni- I think that’s why I often get in a slump myself

I haven’t actually read any of the books on this list. Do you know what that means? I’ve just added 5 new books to my TBR list – I’m going to have to start making more time to read if I’m going to get through the list at some point. Sounds like a great excuse to schedule some reading time into my daily schedule.

Nice assortment of books! I haven’t read any of these! It sounds like The First Wife would be great to listen to – we enjoy listening to audiobooks on long drives. The Miseducation of Cameron Post and Purple Hibiscus both sound like books I’d like to read.

Ngozi Adiche is a writer that I really love. Her books would definitely pull anyone out of a slump. I am going to try reading The Fist wife. Thanks for the list
